The Project Portfolio demonstrates the range of projects that EDP has developed since its inception in 2003.

 


Postgraduate Studies for Managers and Entrepreneurs
The Project “Postgraduate Studies for Managers and Entrepreneurs” is the recent undertaking of the Association, and is considered to be the largest educational initiative of this type in Europe. It was granted with a 12 million Euro budget, coming from European Social Fund (EFS) and was based on the cooperation between 14 Partners – Members of the Association, forming the Consortium.

The Project was submitted in response to the Call by the Polish Agency for Enterprise Development (PARP), as Implementing Institution, within the Operational Program: Human Resource Development, Priority 2: Development of a knowledge-based society, Activity 2.3: Personnel development in a modern economy, Scheme a: Improvement of personnel skills and qualifications.

Initiative
The Project „Initiative” was submitted by the Association ‘Education for Entrepreneurship’ in response to the Call within the framework of Integrated Regional Operational Programme (IROP), Priority 2: Strengthening the human resources development in regions, Activity: 2.5 – Entrepreneurship promotion.
The project was based on research conducted by our Association among Polish students, which indicated that only 4% of graduates decide to establish their own business, although 60% wish to do so.
The “Initiative” assured comprehensive support for young persons willing to start their own businesses. The assistance included: training to provide know-how on running a business, group and individual advisory services and material support linked to the creation of the new micro- enterprises in order to make it operational. The project supported over 40 students and graduates under 25 and financed the creation of 16 small and medium enterprises.

 


 


Effective personnel management in a modern organization-executive training
The project: ‘Effective personnel management in a modern organization-executive training’ was submitted by a consortium made up of the International Banking and Finance School in Katowice, Krakow University of Economics, Twigger S.A. (Polish Editorial) and the Association ‘Education for Entrepreneurship’, as a response to the Call within the framework of the European Social Fund (ESF), Sectoral Operational Programme Human Resources Development, Priority 2: Development of a knowledge-based society, Activity: 2.3 – Personnel development of modern economy.
The project concerned the organization of a series of trainings for Managers and Executives of PKO Bank (PKO Bank Polski) in order to promote and develop pro-customer orientation and effective and innovative management. read more...

Co-operation

EDP aims to enhance competitiveness of the Polish economy through providing support to national business, research centers and universities, but also through the creation of pan- European links and networks.

Welcome

Since its establishment in 2003 the Association “Education for Entrepreneurship” (EDP) fosters close cooperation between individuals, institutions and business entities. As the union of 24 members, state and private-owned universities undertakes various initiatives in order to support and develop entrepreneurship. A further aim is to prepare EU funded projects in the wide area of education. A recent undertaking of the Association is the project “Postgraduate Studies for Managers and Entrepreneurs”. It was granted 12 million Euro and it is considered to be the largest educational initiative of this type in Europe.
